Today’s
recipe is aloo carrot puffs, an Indian style savory puff pastry. Let’s check
out the recipe.
Ingredients
Potato-3 big
Carrot grated-1/2cup
Onion-1
Ginger
garlic paste-1tsp
Chilly
powder-1/2tsp
Turmeric
powder-1/4tsp
Coriander
powder-1/2tsp
Dry mango
powder-1/4tsp(optional)
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Salt
Oil-2tsp
Coriander leaves
Puff pastry
sheet-1
Butter-2tsp
Preparation
For the stuffing,

Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and onions.

Saute it till it get translucent.
·
Now add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder , dry
mango powder, garam masala and salt.
·
Saute for a minute and then add boiled potato and grated carrot.
·
Mix well and cook it for couple of minutes.
·
Switch off the flame and add coriander leaves. Keep it aside.
·
Our stuffing is ready.

Preheat oven for 15 mins.
·
Now roll the puff pastry to thin and uniform and then cut into
rectangle pcs.
·
Then place the aloo carrot stuffing in the center.
·
Now wet the corners with water and close the sheet into half.
·
Seal the ends properly.
·
Brush it with some butter or do an egg milk wash.
·
Bake it for 25minutes at 150 degree Celsius (time may vary).
Aloo carrot puffs are ready
to serve…
