Kesar coconut burfi

Ingredients

Khoya-1cup
Sugar-1/2cup
Desiccated Coconut-1cup
Cardamom powder-1/4tsp
Ghee-1tsp
Saffron-4 to 5 strands
Yellow food colour-a pinch

Preparation

·         Grease a tray with ghee/ butter.
·         Dissolve saffron strands in warm milk and keep it aside.
·         Take grated khoya, coconut, sugar in a pan and mix it in a medium flame.
·         Now add saffron and cardamom powder to the mix and mix well.
·         Mix it well for 10 mins.
·         Switch off the flame and transfer this to a greased tray.
·         Level it with a spoon.
·         Let it cool down and then cut it into desired shapes.
