How to soak dry fruits for a perfect Christmas cake






Ingredients


§  Black raisins-1cup

§  Golden raisins-1/2 cup

§  Dried plum-8 to 10

§  Dates-1/2 cup

§  Dried cranberries-1/2 cup

§  Glazed cherries-1cup

§  Tutti frutti-1/2cup

§  Candid Orange peel-1/4cup

§  Cashew nuts-1/2cup

§  Almonds-1/4cup

§  Red wine-2cup



Preparation




§  Chop all dry fruits into small pcs.

§  Mix all the chopped dry fruits well in a bowl.

§  Transfer this to a clean and dry glass jar.

§  Pour enough wine sufficient to soak.

§  Store it in refrigerator (if the weather is hot and humid) or a dark, cool place for at least 2 weeks.

§  Shake well or gently stir it with a dry spoon every alternative day (once in 2 days). keep doing this until you bake the cake.
