Butter chicken is
an easy to make recipe and tastes delicious too…Today let’s see how to make

Ingredients
Chicken Breast-2
pcs
Ginger garlic
paste-1 tsp
Onion-1
Tomato-2
Kashmiri chilly
Powder-1 tsp
Coriander
Powder-1/4 tsp
Cumin Powder-1/2
tsp
Sugar- 1tsp
Turmeric Powder-a
pinch
Butter-3tsp
Salt
Kasoori methi (Dried fenugreek leaves)-1/2tsp
Fresh Cream- 3tsp
Garam Masala-1/4
tsp
Water
For marinating chicken pcs,
Kashmiri chilly
Powder/normal chilly powder-1 tsp
Cumin
Powder-1/2tsp
Garam
Masala-1/2tsp
Ginger garlic
paste-1tsp
Thick Curd-1tsp
Lime juice-1/2tsp
Salt as required
Preparation
·
Marinate the chicken pcs with all ingredients
mentioned above.

Keep it aside for minimum 1 hour. Here I kept it
overnight in the refrigerator.
·
Heat butter in a pan and add marinated chicken
pcs.
·
Shallow fry it. Keep it aside.
·
In the same pan add onion and saute it for some
time.
·
Then add ginger garlic paste.
·
Saute it till raw smell goes.
·
Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilly powder,
cumin powder, garam masala and salt.
·
Saute it on a medium flame.
·
Then add tomato pcs and mix them well.
·
Cook well. When it cooked, switch off the flame
and let it cool.
·
Then grind this to a fine paste by adding some
water.
·
Filter the mix using a strainer.
·
Pour this mix and fried chicken pcs to the pan
and add some butter.
·
Cook it about 10 mins and add kasoori methi and
sugar.
·
Mix well and cook it again for 3 to 4 mins until
the gravy thickens. I like butter chicken with slight thick gravy. You can cook
it until you get the desired consistency or a thick gravy.

Finally add fresh cream and switch off the
flame.
Tasty Butter chicken is ready to serve.
Note:
·
If you don’t
have fresh cream, mix 1 tsp corn flour with some water. Then add this to the gravy.
·
For kasoori
methi leaves, take some fresh fenugreek leaves, dry roast it for 5 to 8 mins. Then crush
it with your hands.
